Dr Zurina attained her MBBS and Master of Ophthalmology degree from University of Malaya in which she then served as a lecturer till 2010. She started her Oculoplasty training in 2004 at Pusat Perubatan Universiti Malaya (PPUM) and continued her training as a fellow at Sydney Eye Hospital. Dr Zurina is currently a Resident Consultant Ophthalmologist and Oculoplastic Surgeon in Kpj Klang Specialist Hospital and is a Visiting Clinical Specialist in University of Malaya Medical Centre. She is currently the Chairperson of Malaysian Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery under the wing of Malaysian Society of Ophthalmology.
