Dr. Sunder completed his Bachelors’ degree in medicine (MBBS) from Manipal Academy of Higher Education, India in 1998 and Master of Surgery-Ophthalmology from University Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in 2006. He also completed his Pediatric Ophthalmology Fellowship from the Singapore National Eye Centre (SNEC) in 2012. He is a fellow with the International Council of Ophthalmology as well as the Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow. Throughout his illustrious career, he has received multiple Excellence in Service Awards and is an ardent advocate to Pediatric Ophthalmology.
Dr. Sunder is a recognized speaker at multiple national and international level events speaking to Ophthalmologists, General Practitioners, Optometrists, and also Paramedics. He is a keen educator and has also been sharing his knowledge as a visiting lecturer in the Faculty of Optometry, Segi University.
