Associate Professor Dr Safinaz Mohd Khialdin, is a Consultant Paediatric Ophthalmologist and the Head of Paediatric Ophthalmology Unit in Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.
She is the Chairperson of the Paediatric Ophthalmology Chapter, College of Ophthalmology. She is also the advisor of the Malaysian Advocacy for Myopia Prevention (MAMP), a national taskforce which advocates the important issue of myopia.
She is actively involved several ongoing external and internal research grants. She has published several academic books and has more than 60 peer-reviewed articles.
She is the Course Director for the National Postgraduate Medical Curriculum training and a committee in the Malaysian Universities Conjoint Committee of Ophthalmology.
