Dr. Nur Hafidza Binti Asiff is a General & Paediatric Ophthalmologist & Strabismus Surgeon at Hospital Selayang. She obtained her Medical Doctor (MD) degree from UKM in 2005, followed by a Doctor of Ophthalmology in 2014. She further specialized in Paediatric Ophthalmology, completing her fellowship sub specialist training in Paediatric ophthalmology in 2023 And earning a Diploma in Paediatrics from the Royal College of Physicians Ireland in 2022.
With extensive experience in ophthalmology, Dr. Nur Hafidza has served in multiple hospitals across Malaysia. She has also contributed to research, with few publications in journals, and has presented at past conferences. She is also active in academic and professional development, having organized training programs under Ministry of Health and has served previously as an adjunct lecturer to medical undergraduates.
Recognized for her excellence, she has received awards, including the JKNS Excellence Service Award. Apart from being a doting mother of 5, she is passionate about paediatric eye health and hopes to be able to help alleviate the suffering of children from eye diseases throughout her career.
