Dr. Noor Aniah Azmi is a Consultant Cataract and Refractive Surgeon and the Medical Director at Ikonik Eye Specialist Centre. She holds an MBBCh from Egypt, a Masters in Ophthalmology from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), and a Post-graduate Diploma in Cataract & Refractive Surgery from the UK. Specializing in Phakic IOLs, laser refractive surgery (including LASIK, PRK, and keratorefractive lenticule extraction), and refractive cataract surgery, she is dedicated to delivering cutting-edge, patient-centered vision care.
Dr. Noor Aniah has actively contributed to ophthalmology through research, presentations, and leadership. She presented her findings on dry eye disease at APACRS and shared insights on post-LASIK cataract surgery and multifocal IOL outcomes at ESCRS. In 2020, she participated in the Young Ophthalmologists’ Debate on Refractive Surgery and served as Secretary for the Malaysian Young Ophthalmologists Society, supporting the next generation of eye care professionals.
A former lecturer at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Dr. Noor Aniah continues to inspire through her clinical work and public engagements, including national television appearances to educate on eye health.
Beyond her professional achievements, she is a mother of four and an advocate for personal growth. Guided by her philosophy, “Do your best, do it sincerely, and always be kind,” she strives to harmonize her roles as a surgeon, entrepreneur, and parent. Her journey reflects dedication to continuous improvement, inspiring her patients, peers, and mentors.
