Dr. Min Kim is Professor and Chief of the Department of Ophthalmology at GangnamSeverance Hospital, Yonsei University College of Medicine in Seoul, Korea. He is a leading expert in ocular oncology and vitreoretinal surgery, with a particular focus on the diagnosis and treatment of various intraocular tumors including choroidal melanoma.

After earning his MD and PhD from Yonsei University, Dr. Kim completed a retina fellowship at Gangnam Severance Hospital and further specialized fellowship training in ocular oncology at the Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia under Dr. Carol Shields. He has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed publications and regularly contributes to international journals and academic meetings.

Dr. Kim is actively involved in advancing clinical care and research in ocular tumors and retinal diseases. He has won several distinguished academic awards and serves on the editorial boards of several ophthalmology journals. Dr. Kim is a member of the Macular Society, the Retina Society, APVRS, APAO, ISOO, IOIS, AAO, ARVO, and many national societies.

In addition to his clinical and academic roles, he is Director of Public Relations at Gangnam Severance Hospital and plays a key role in strategic communications for the institution.
