Dr Haslinda is an ophthalmologist and oculoplastic surgeon, currently based in Hospital Raja Perempuan Zainab II, Kota Bharu, Kelantan. She earned her Medical Degree in 2004 and subsequently obtained Master of Medicine in Ophthalmology in 2015 from Universiti Sains Malaysia. She completed fellowship in Oculoplastic subspecialty training under Ministry of Health Malaysia in 2021, where she was trained in Hospital Sultan Idris Shah (Serdang), Hospital Kuala Lumpur, and Hospital Tengku Ampuan Afzan. She is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching as Honorary Clinical Lecturer of Hospital Universiti Sains Malaysia, as well as Lincoln University College; besides a Visiting Oculoplastic Surgeon of Hospital Universiti Sains Malaysia, Hospital Sultan Ismail Petra, Kuala Krai, and Hospital Sultanah Nur Zahirah, Kuala Terengganu.
