Underwent training in Vitreoretina subspeciality at Selayang Hospital and St Paul’s Eye Unit, Royal Liverpool University Hospital, United Kingdom.
Established Vitreoretina services for the Northern Peninsula in May 2005, based at Hospital Alor Setar, Kedah until VR surgeons were available years later in Ipoh, Perak and subsequently in Pulau Pinang.
Was Head of Ophthalmology Department @ Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah, Kedah from 2013 until 2020.
She has trained fellows in Vitreoretina and postgraduate students in Ophthalmology.
Her passion in prevention of blindness remains.
