Dr. Choo Swee Ying is a Consultant Ophthalmologist and Vitreoretinal Surgeon in Hospital Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Dr. Choo underwent her basic medical degree at University Malaysia Sarawak and graduated in 2003 . After graduation, she had been serving in Hospital Kuala Lumpur.
She became an ophthalmologist after completed her Master in Ophthalmology from the National University of Malaysia (UKM) in 2012.
She further her studies and subspecialty training in Vitreoretina under scholarship by Ministry of Health Malaysia. In 2017, she was awarded the Dr Eddie Donaldson Fellow at Sydney Eye Hospital, Australia. She received her Certificate of Clinical Fellowship Training (CCFT) in 2018.
She currently serves as the Head of the Vitreoretinal Unit at Hospital Kuala Lumpur and is a Visiting Consultant at Beacon Hospital, Malaysia.
