Dr. Cheng Teck Chee is a distinguished ophthalmologist and medical lecturer based at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. He obtained both his medical degree and Doctor of Ophthalmology from the same university. With a robust background in eye care and surgery, Dr. Cheng has dedicated his career to advancing the field of ophthalmology through clinical practice, education and research. Till date, he has received research grants over four hundred thousand Ringgit Malaysia. Dr. Cheng is deeply committed to early glaucoma intervention, utilizing a range of minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) techniques. He is also actively engaged in cataract surgery research, focusing on advancements in intraocular lenses and innovative nuclear fragmentation techniques.
