Dr. Azhany Yaakub is a Glaucoma Consultant and Specialist, currently practicing at the Specialist Hospital USM. She holds a Medical Doctor (MD) degree & Master of Medicine in Ophthalmology (MMED) from the University Sains Malaysia (USM) and a PhD in Ophthalmology from the National University of Malaysia (UKM). With extensive expertise in glaucoma management, Dr. Azhany is also an active educator, contributing to the training of future medical professionals. Her research interests and contributions have resulted in over 50 published articles in reputable medical journals. Her special interest is in Juvenile Open Angle Glaucoma. As a dedicated academic and clinician, she continues to make significant strides in both patient care and medical research.
