Adeline is a distinguished figure in the field of eyecare and vision science, holding an MSc in Clinical Optometry from Cardiff and boasting two decades of experience. Her career is marked by a patient-centered approach and a comprehensive understanding of the eyecare industry, encompassing retail practice, clinical research, product development, and market commercialization. Adeline's expertise in commercial strategy, clinical research, regulatory affairs, and medical affairs has significantly contributed to translation of innovation to market, for patients benefit.
Her professional journey includes 14 years as a scientist at DSO National Laboratories, where she played a pivotal role in vision science, contributing to national myopia statistics and developing diagnostic and safety protocols for soldiers. At Essilor International, Adeline led the collaborative research center at Wenzhou Medical University, achieving over 40 outcomes in myopia research and developing Essilor® Stellest®, a groundbreaking technology for myopia management. Her scholarly contributions include 48 published articles, 1,330 citations, and four patents.
Currently serving as the Head of Medical and Professional Affairs in the region, Adeline continues to forge strong relationships across sectors, collaborating with scientists, clinicians and institutions to foster innovation, prioritize patients and transform lives.
